How You Can Write a Successful Book

If you’ve ever gone to YouTube.com and searched for videos on “how to write a book,” you’ll already know there’s a potful of stuff there – most of it awful. But there are also a few masters who have something useful to say.

Here are two.

First is Dan Poynter. He’s probably influenced as many new writers as anybody. And yet, he’s a total non-celebrity outside the publishing/self-publishing field. Poynter wrote his first book on skydiving decades ago because he couldn’t find any good books on the subject.

Then, in his search for information on how to self-publish, he also found little or nothing on the topic. So he wrote a book on that as well. And then another, and another.
