You – a Super Hero?
Have you ever caught yourself saying, “I wish somebody would…” or maybe it was, “They ought to….”
Whatever it was that “they” ought to do, would it make the world a better, safer or more enjoyable place? If so, and if nobody is stepping forward to volunteer, why are you merely wishing? Why not just do it yourself?
Maybe the thought just flashed across your mind that “I’m just not the kind of person who…” If so, then maybe you should stop the thought right there, because you’re right on the verge of lying to yourself.
Lying? That’s a pretty strong thing to say – right? But I’m not exaggerating. You are exactly the kind of person you make up your mind to be. Even if it’s an achiever, a hero, a champion.
Today’s guest author Tammi Putnam and her husband Bill are Law of Attraction coaches who teach…
How to Release Your Inner Champion
By Tammi Putnam
“You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
- Christopher Robin to Pooh
Don’t you love Pooh? He’s the epitome of kindness, a gentle spirit and a friend to all. This quote from Christopher Robin to Pooh is the great reminder of what we can forget about ourselves… our inner champion.
As we become responsible citizens, parents and business owners and workers, we heap more and more responsibility upon ourselves with mortgage payments, car payments, taxes, college funds etc….
And when we take a moment to catch our breath, that we are connected to our source, we remember who we are.
We are abundant, prosperous beings that are here to experience joy, love and growth. It’s the growth periods that make us doubt, fear and worry. We’re are braver, stronger and smarter that we can even imagine. We are champions. We just forget. We remind our kids all the time that they are beautiful, unique, special beings that are filled with greatness. Now, it’s time to remind ourselves that we’re champions!
How to Release Your Inner Champion
1. Connect to Greatness Through Your Source
Begin taking a quiet space and allowing connecting time. This time will rejuvenate and our spirit. With that connection to our spirit, our body and mind follow.
2. Celebrate Your Uniqueness
What are you good at? What do you like about yourself? What makes you proud of yourself? What wins do you have? Write down 10 wins that you’ve had. Have you received an award? Have you run a 5K? Have you learned to speak Spanish? Write it down and CELEBRATE it!
3. Be of Service to Others
When we serve others, we serve ourselves. We can’t help others without feeling good. When you take a leadership role, you affirm that you are a champion. This is a great way to release your inner champion to remind yourself that you are a leader and in service to others.
4. Be fearless
Yes, be fearless! Lay down your fears, doubts and worries. It’s true, humans do experience these. Acknowledge them and keep moving! What helps me is to write down my fears, cross them out and write any solutions that come into my thoughts. Be focused on solutions, not problems. Make no mistake that successful people feel fear, they feel it and then move on with their action.
5. Move With Inspired Action
So many people are waiting on the sign from God to move forward. As author Andy Andrews says, “God is waiting on you!” When you step toward your life, your life steps toward you! Intention starts the manifestation in motion. Follow that with inspired action which is your belief that you are a conscious creator in your desires. My favorite saying of all time is “When you pray, move your feet.”
Today release your inner champion! I’ll look forward to hearing your results!

Back to Charles:
The Law of Attraction is a wonderful thing. And it’s great that so many people have become aware of it recently.
Unfortunately, most people have only understood it marginally. They’re still expecting it to work like some sort of magic potion or lucky charm. Do some affirmations, throw in some half-baked visualizations, and – voila! – you’re saved from having to do any work on your own behalf. The Universe does it all for you.
Not.
Listen up! The Law of Attraction is a steering mechanism, it’s not a starter. It will not – repeat NOT! – work unless you’re in motion. Period. It’ll help you find all sorts of amazing shortcuts.
But like all shortcuts, it’s useless as long as you’re sitting on your butt.
And what’s a good way to get yourself up and moving? As Tammi has suggested, start giving yourself credit for all the unique specialness that’s built into you. Find what’s good and strong and, yes, what’s heroic within yourself.
Spend some quality time dwelling on your positive qualities. God knows we devote enough time to rehashing our “failings.” So stop that. Instead, go to work for the other side, the side you WANT to win, instead of the side you FEAR will win.
As you give more time, energy and attention to the hero you wish you were, the more of that hero will begin to emerge.
To paraphrase Gandhi, “Be the hero you wish to see in the world.”
Cheers from warm and smiling Thailand,
Charles

Great article Tammi
It always amazes me just how simple and common sense all this really is. Yet, so many people come to Law of Attraction material, looking for the GRAND SLAM – the one-step overnight success – when it’s really consistently grinding out the little daily things that win the big prize over time.
Success breed success. Think of it as a muscle. You don’t run into a gym and start hoisting the heaviest things you can find (well, maybe YOU do). Stretches, warm-ups and building up little by little is the best way to keep yourself in shape over the long term without hurting yourself.
Don’t be fooled by the simplicity. The five steps offered above are indeed simple ones that we can all do with great effectiveness, no matter what level we’re at. But as Tammi says, you gotta do ‘em. You can’t just read a book or show up for a one day seminar and ‘POOF’.
Maybe some millenniums from now, it will be that easy. Until then, keep movin’ them feet!
All the best from Toronto,
Russ
